I grew up in the small town of Carbondale, Colorado surrounded by mountain landscapes. I believe this remote living was a direct influence on my aesthetic.
I’ve always been interested in the arts. As a kid I started out with pencil drawing and painting. In the early 2000’s I jumped at the opportunity to gain some experience behind the lens and in the darkroom before film was phased out. Fast forward to 2005, and my personal epiphany that you can actually go to school to make movies. I hopped in a car and headed to Santa Cruz, CA to pursue a degree in ‘Film & Digital Media’.
In 2012 I started working as a freelance videographer & editor. I have filmed promotional & branding content, real estate, weddings, events, music videos, short films, and corporate projects. It’s been an incredible opportunity to garner experience with pre-production / storyboarding, assistant and lead-editing, coloring, as well as audio.
My goal is to elevate your project to places you didn’t know it could go.
